  Habitat Broadleaf woodland and other well wooded areas including gardens. Foodplant A wide range of broadleaf trees. Lifestage data Overwinters as an egg which is laid in small batches in the bark of the foodplant. Larva April-early June, feeding mainly at night. Pupates well down in the soil. |
